About Us
Tigerclaw the founder of the GlobalChat.ca IRC Network one day came up with an idea in 1996 to bring
people from other cities & countries closer by creating the first server irc.globalchat.ca as of witch he owns.
Shortly some time after D_Peti the owner of laurus linked his server to the GlobalChat.ca IRC Network from Hungary.
Some time after the SzFv server was created from Hungary, They has been many other servers from many countries
that linked to the GlobalChat.ca IRC Network over time.
The UK server was created in July 2007 & linked to the rest of the GlobalChat.ca IRC Network for people in the UK
& near by countries to find it more easy & accessible to join the chat with there own IRC client.
The GlobalChat.ca IRC Network was created for people to communicate with each other over great distances.
